What We Do: We facilitate interactive music, writing, and drawing sessions that stimulate creative thinking and foster collaboration and teamwork. Our in-house concerts, workshops, and mini-retreats are inspiring brain-awakening experiences that spark the imagination, promote camaraderie, and develop productivity and leadership capacities. Bosch Institute programs deliver hands-on and personally fulfilling group mentoring while helping participants assess their individual talents and strengths and realize personal and/or professional goals. Fun, informative, and engaging, our offerings include Daniel Arite's signature creativity workshop, Why Not Make Something Up?, which focuses on composing instrumental music and songwriting.
Why Not Make Something Up is presented in a series of improvisational music and poetry composition sessions that encourage spontaneity and playfulness and enable participants to learn to trust their instincts and honor their unique creative abilities. Beginning with nothing more than sentence fragments and random sounds from traditional instruments and household items ( lamps, glasses, pots, etc.), participants are taken on a sonic adventure that culminates in an original – and totally unpredictable – poetry and music composition! This popular workshop is suitable for budding musicians and non-musicians, allowing them to fully experience the joy of combining words and music while learning basic composition techniques.
